I. CALL TO ORDER: OPEN SESSION
A. Announcement by the chairperson whether a quorum is present, and then that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of the meeting has been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
II. FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: CLOSED SESSION: The Board may recess the Open Meeting and reconvene in a Closed Meeting pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Code and as authorized by Sections 551.071-551.076 and 551.082-551.084 thereof:
A. Sections 551.074 – to hear and/or deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
1. Interview Superintendent in-house candidates. (R. Randle)
2. Deliberate regarding in-house candidates for Superintendent. (R. Randle)
III. RECONVENE from Closed Meeting to OPEN SESSION for action relative to items covered in such meeting.
A. Consider naming of Superintendent Finalist from in-house search. (R. Randle)
B. Consider opening Superintendent search to candidates outside the District (if a superintendent finalist is not named). (R. Randle)
