Consider Approval of Resolution No. 13-14-28 Approving an Employment Contract with Dr. Jose L. Parra and Offering Him the Position of Superintendent of Schools for Irving ISD The Board may deliberate in closed session the appointment, employment, resignation, evaluation, reassignment, proposed nonrenewals, termination, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. The Board may consult with the Board’s Attorney in closed session on any matter in which the duty of the Attorney to the Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act.
